CAIRD, Mamie Isobell. Peacefully at Bupa Ascot on Wednesday, 13 August 2025, aged 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Colin. Loved mother of Donald and Merle (Lumsden), Lorraine and Craig (Invercargill), Brian and Jo (Timaru). Loved Nana and Great Nana to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved aunty to all her nephews and nieces. As to Mamie’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at The Salvation Army Citadel, 29 Victoria Avenue, Invercargill, on Monday, 18th August 2025 at 2:30 pm. Instead of flowers, donations to the Heart Foundation would be gratefully received.
