Our goal is simple: to make it easier for people to find and share notices, tributes, and service details in one trusted place. While not every New Zealand death notice is listed yet, our long-term vision is for Remembered to become the single, comprehensive source for all notices nationwide.

How it works
Notices can be posted free of charge, offering a simple way to share essential details about a funeral or memorial service. For those who wish to create a more personalised tribute,paid notices offer additional features, including:
- The ability to add photos of your loved one
- A space for family and friends to share tributes and memories
- Enhanced formatting and visibility options
Why a notice may not appear
- The family may have chosen not to share the notice publicly. There is no legal requirement to publish an obituary or funeral notice online, and some families prefer to keep these details private.
- The funeral home may not be using Remembered yet. Participation in the platform is optional, and not all funeral homes are currently connected.
We’re working to make Remembered as inclusive and comprehensive as possible, and we encourage funeral homes across Aotearoa New Zealand to join us in offering this service to their communities.
