Charlotte B went from babysitter to stand in Nana to me and my brother. Not growing up with grandparents she came to every grandparents day, fair, mass and event as our ‘adopted granny.’ I often think to myself how lucky I am that someone could care so deeply for two children unrelated to her that she would want show up so that they’re not without grandparents. She came to nearly every single show I performed in and was so excited to watch every time. I feel so blessed to have felt the love she had to give and I will miss her dearly. How lucky and grateful I am that such a wonderful and selfless lady was part of nearly my entire life. She’ll always have a special place in my heart.
I remember how kind and caring she was when we were teenagers. Such a great mother who raised three amazing children. We will always remember the fun times. May God's embrace forever be with you. Martin.
Charlotte came into our household to help out, and through her warmth, kindness, humour became an extended member of our family. She was devoted to our children and our dog, and was loved equally by us all. Charlotte was an invaluable source of help and support on many, may occasions. We will miss her dearly and will always have fond memories of the years she was with us. Our lives are richer for having had Charlotte B look after us.
Charlotte was a good and faithful friend and employee. She made our house a home for over 15 years. Our children adored her and she knew all their secrets which she never confided to us. Charlotte’s warmth and her laughter will be sorely missed. God Speed
