Bereavement pānui on behalf of the Wihongi Whānau regarding the passing of their beloved Father, grandfather, uncle and loving husband Tukotahi Wihongi who sadly passed away on Monday the 18th of August 2025 in Whāngarei

Matua is currently in our care at Haven Falls Funeral Home and later today will depart for his whānau whare in Whangaruru.

On Tuesday 19th of August at 5pm they will depart home for Matawaia Marae where matua will remain for the duration of his tangihanga

The whānau have advised that further arrangements will be confirmed collectively at the Marae, and this pānui will be updated accordingly.
