Gramps, I will miss that cheeky smile and laugh of yours. You are loved by many and I feel privileged to have had you as my grandfather. The love you and Nana shared is a special memory that I will hold onto. I will also always remember you teaching me how to play many card games and I will forever cherish those moments. May you rest in peace Love your granddaughter Tina
Through our friendship with Debbie and Mark we have had the privilege of meeting Bruce and Shirley at special family occasions. Whenever we saw Bruce at these family parties he and Shirley were always having a great time and you could feel the special bond they had together and how much they enjoyed having all the family around them. I remember Bruce having a great sense of humour and thinking what a gentleman he was! Our deepest condolences to you Shirley and Debbie and all of your families.
For at least 47 years I have had the privilege of knowing Bruce ( Gramps) & being a part of the family. I will always cherish with love many many memories. One that makes me laugh always is "family photos" and Bruce with his camera. Omgosh how long we had to sit there and wait. Shirley my heart goes out to you, wish I could have been there today. But please always know, that I have loved you both. Wonderful parents, grandparents, and great grandparents to our children and grandkiddies. Memories forever I will cherish. - Sue Hudson

Such a privilege getting to know a wonderful man. To see Shirley and Bruce's love and support of each other, always holding hands on their walks, was truly gorgeous. You will always be treasured and adored as a wonderful husband, grandfather and great grandfather and missed by so many who you were so special to. Rest in peace. Leanne, Keegan, Simone and Andrew.
