Passed away peacefully at Auckland City Hospital, into the arms of his Lord. Dearly loved husband of Kath (deceased 2021 during the Covid pandemic). Deeply loved and treasured by his children Chris, Ross and Sal and their spouses, Bruce, Julia and Kerry, his four grand-children and five great-grandchildren. He was a proud and loving grandfather and a delighted great-grandfather. The last few weeks have been a very precious time where much love has been expressed, and memories shared with laughter and tears. The family expresses their appreciation and gratitude to the staff and management at Waimarie Private Hospital for all their love and care of both Mum and Dad and to the doctors and nurses of Auckland City Hospital who cared for Dad in his recent illness. A joint celebration of Mum and Dad's lives will be held at St. Chads Church, 38 St. Johns Road, Meadowbank, Auckland at 2pm on Wednesday 11th October 2023. Any communications to chrissie132@gmail.com.
