From celebrations to navigating life's hardest times, your wisdom and guidance never wavered. I will forever treasure your cute little giggles, the moments when you would fall asleep, and the anticipation of waiting all day for your lovingly home-cooked meals. Your daughters, Tereasa and Lesley, were your pride and joy — they truly reflect your nurturing love and teachings. Your unwavering dedication to the Maori Women's Welfare League stands as a testament to your deep commitment to Te Ao Maori. With your life's work centered around uplifting and providing opportunities for Maori, you touched so many, including me. As you embark on your final journey, reuniting with Uncle Neil and other family members we've lost, we honor the incredible legacy you have left behind.
