Peter, Joy and their children were neighbours of ours for over 15 years, and friends for much longer. Peter was an absolute legend in the Beachmere area, an absolute craftsman in boatbuilding and metal work. We shared many Happy Hours, meals and street parties together over the years. Our sincere condolences go out to Joy, Steven, Julie & family. Fond Memories always, Kim, Carmel & family.

Where to start Pete you are truely a amazing man & your knowledge of every think that your learnt or seen or done over the years was fascinating, your story’s you told we’re always fantastic & made me think about things if I was in that position. You taught me a lot about DIY things to do to houses & I learnt what a donga was from you & Joy, you taught me how to use different fishing gear & I always loved going out on the ocean on the boat with you even though we didn’t catch much most of the time but it was just great to get away from the land. You & Joy played a big part of my life & my sons life’s you were like parents to me & grandparents to my sons & always made us feel welcomed & loved & we appreciated everything you helped us with, It’s been a privilege to know you & joy & you’s we’re not only great neighbours but amazing friends/Family. You will be missed Peter but we will always remember you & will never forget the great times we shared with you. My heart goes out to you Joy, Steve & Julie & the rest of the Family.
