Tributes

Dear Tracy Our darling friend who lit up every room and held such a strong, kind and positive presence has gone way, way to soon. We shared so many fun times, created so many magical memories and laughed until our bellies ached. We will miss you dearly and remember you always. To know you was to love you! Love always 💙💙💙💙

On behalf of the Royal Road School community we want to pay tribute to Tracy, a committed parent, hard working BOT member and all-round supporter of our school. Our school was a much brighter place for having her a part of it.

Beautiful Trace (and fellow member of our 'Poly Princesses' WhatsApp group chat!), I scrolled through our group chat today and realised that 17 July 2025 was the last time you sent me a message. Thankfully, Neil, "The Sheikh," took over and did an amazing job of keeping everyone updated. The stories shared at the service echoed my experience with you, starting back in Dubai in 2023 when we were chosen to stage-manage the Dubai Poly Fest. I recall we agreed that using fake headsets would be a great touch, although I think we wanted them for different reasons - you wanted to look professional, while I wanted to look like I was ready to perform 'Vogue.' Unfortunately, we didn't get any. Fortunately, Dubai was spared my questionable Madonna choreography. I cherish discussions that cover all bases: lightness, depth, authenticity, and humour (inappropriate being preferred!). You gifted me with all four and, it seems, gifted many others the same as well. On 17 August 2025, our two-year group chat officially came to an end. It has been an honour being included in your life and being there during your incredibly brave journey. Your warmth, immediate. Your energy, rare and infectious. So much love and "onwards and upwards," Joshua T x

Dear Tracy, I will always remember your warm smile and great energy. Your support and encouragement for me personally over the past 2 years has helped me immensely to be where I am today. We are launching SUBu Connect on the 10th September 2025 in London and I know you will be there with us in spirit. Thank you for being such a wonderful human being. Big hugs Matt and all the team @ SUBU Connect

It’s hard to put into words just how much Tracy meant to us, and how much we’ll miss her. Tracy’s last journey wasn't easy — and she fought courage and grace. Though that battle has now ended, her spirit, her warmth, and her impact on each of us will never fade. Even when things were tough, she never lost that spark that made her who she was. Tracy was gregarious, happy, and kind. She was always thinking of others, always checking in, always finding a way to bring a smile to someone’s face. Tracy's laughter could fill a room and her presence lifted those around her. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, valued, and seen. Always thinking of others, always ready with a cheeky smile or a witty remark, she brought joy into every space she entered. She had that rare gift of making every gathering brighter, every team stronger, and every friendship richer. You couldn’t help but be drawn to her warmth and her energy. Many of us worked alongside her in Dubai, where she became the heart and soul — the lynchpin — of the NZ Expo team. Tracy was the glue that held us together. She was the bright spark that kept things moving, and the friend who reminded us to laugh even in the busiest and most stressful of days. She gave so much of herself to work, but even more to the people around her. Her energy, her dedication, and her boundless enthusiasm helped carry us through challenges, and her generosity of spirit made each of us better people. While there was work, Tracy also made sure to make the most of Dubai - the high rise apartment, the shopping, the handbags, the trips to Fujairah, the fish dinner, the shisha, the cocktails by the pool, the brunches, the henna, the spa days, the desert, the suntan and the travel! if we weren't joining her, we were all regaled by the stories following her endless adventures. It’s hard to imagine not having her with us. We’ll miss her laughter, the fun, the cheeky

I didn’t know Tracy for very long, but from what I heard from Annie and from what I saw myself, she was truly a brave and inspiring person. A real hero to everyone who loved her. My deepest condolences to her friends and family she may be gone from this world, but heaven has gained a beautiful angel.
