Dear Angela and family. We send you and your family our deepest condolences with the passing of Ron. Our lives have touched in so many ways over the years. First there was speech, together with our daughter Kim. Next was Mahurangi College with Kara and Peter. I am so glad that I saw you both at the Reunion at Labour Weekend and it was only then that I realised just how Ill Ron was. He has been a stalwart in this town and will be remembered for all the voluntary work over the years. Our thoughts are with you at this time. Moira and Garth.
Dear Angela, It is a very long time since I was so happy to be with you and Ron on your wedding day and still remember the excitement of the small plane taking you away on your honeymoon from the beach at Baddeleys! I still often wonder how you and Pat are getting on, so I’m sorry to read that you have lost your soul mate. I have lived in Whangarei and environs for many years but since the death of my husband Ed I have recently moved to Hobsonville Point, to start a new phase of life nearer my two sons. My very warmest sympathy to you and your family, Cherry.
I am in the UK at the moment spending time with my elderly parents and am so sad to read about the passing of Ron. I met Ron and Angela through the monthly BLV meetings that were held at Summerset. Ron was always so positive with a fabulous sense of humor and he will always hold a small spot in my heart. My love and healing hugs go out to his wonderful supportive Angela and to the rest of his family. Katie Mitchell
