Tributes

While Grant was knowledgeable across many subjects, he was unique in his keen ability to listen. A totally reliable, completely efficient and eloquent chap who had a phone manner that calmed even the most belligerent callers. Thank you for making a difference.

Sorry I was not to attend Grants funeral today. My thoughts and prayers are prayers are will you all at this time. Grant you instrumental in making me feel welcome in the PSMC along with Jill and Gary. I loved to visit your office that you shared with Jill and Paul not just for lollies. You always had a big smile and genuinely cared for your colleagues and all the Northland customers that called us. You set a very high bar for ‘customer excellence and service’ which I have not seen again. I want to sincerely thank you for all those years of service to our communities, especially in the many storms we had to weather. Whilst we didn’t catch up often after you retired, it was always great to see you and that amazing smile, having a chat about our families and life there was always a story to be told. Not so sure for Tim, as to this day I don’t think Tottenham is higher in the table. May you rest in peace Grant. Moe mai ra my friend, moe mai ra.
