Uncle Bruce and Auntie Janice, wonderful neighbours when we were growing up, climbing the fence to visit, cooking tripe for Bruce because Janice hated the smell so she just could not cook it!, watching Inky drool over Bruce’s undies or shirts! Loved them both! Sad tidings Sam, but he leaves behind some wonderful memories for all of us lucky enough to have know him and Janice both. Chin up, they are having parties up there now. ❤️❤️

Deepest sympathy. Great memories of Bruce when we played in tournaments at Golf Crouuet. He was a wonderful teacher so cool and calm. R.I.P. Bruce.

slice recipes to bring to our Club functions.

A wonderful quiet and passionate golf croquet player who would sit quietly at our noisey Tyson family get togethers. And a good cook of yummy cake slices. Finally at peace. Love Janice, Shaun and Brett

As a boy I remember this mountain of a man with a gentle voice. As a teenager I witnessed his commitment to supporting the Tokoroa axemans club with Stub Ferguson at his hip and the laughter. The Sunday working bee at the club after the AP Show and the trailer loads of wood to the community. The excitement I had when he would call and ask me to go trout fishing with him on Whakamaru Lake. Then the pleased look and encouragement he had when I hooked up several times. As a man I witnessed his total commitment to his wife and daughter, it must have been extremely hard caring for Aunty Janice. Behind the walls it must have been so tough for them both. We had lost contact over the years with busy lives we lead but my memories are clear with happiness, laughter, pride and respect Uncle Bruce. Rest in peace. Love Steve Diane and family.

A tremendously wonderful friend and workmate in the Timber Yard at Hutt Timber, Tokoroa, later known as Pinex Tokoroa. Nothing was too hard for Bruce. Amongst the first on the job in the morning and last to leave in the afternoon. It was a pleasure to meet and know him. RIP Bruce. Aroha nui to whanau and friends. Nga mihi nui, ab
