So sorry to hear that Les has left us, my sympathy to Lorraine and the Forsyth family. Les and I started sorting out the world when we washed the milk bottles together at Pihama School in Standard 6. We grew up together in Pihama and have kept in contact ever since even when we were on different pathways. Les was great at all sport but his passion was rugby. Sadly missed and sorry I cannot make it on Wednesday but you will always be with me Les. Desmond

My condolences to the Forsyth families. May the days ahead be filled with the memories of your good times you will recall, and the enjoyment you all got from that. A descendant of one of the early settlers of Pihama. I went to Pihama School and Opunake High School with Les, rugby was the sport of the day and Les was a great player, we all enjoyed the team spirit. Gordon Pettigrew
