KEREAMA George Whatanui, X39880 IRNZIR (Maj Ret): Peacefully at Ranfurly Manor, Feilding, on Saturday 18 November 2023, aged 80 years. Cherished husband of Averill. Dearly loved father of Grant and Lisa, Vanessa, Celeste and Sean, Justine and Alan. Beloved Koro of all his mokopuna and moko-moko. Whanau and friends may pay their respects at Taumata O Te Ra Marae, Halcombe, where George's service will be held tomorrow, Tuesday 21 November 2023 at 11.00am, then to the Marae urupa.

Dear Averill and family, I was so very sad to learn of George's passing. I sat behind him at school, FAHS 1961, and have always admired him greatly. He was a man of high ideals. My deepest sympathy to you all. Shirley Thomson New Plymouth
