What a lovely service for George, he definitely was a character and hearing some of the stories you all shared bought tears to my eyes. How fabulous to see the craftsmanship Philip,Maree, Brad, Jaimee and Kade put into his casket. He would have been very chuffed with that. I hope you drink plenty and be merry remembering all the great things George was and the good he did. Xxx

To Jill and the family. George was like the "favourite uncle" to us Hansen's when we visited you guys regularly at your house on the farm in the weekends. He was always interested in what we were doing and would happily take us around the farm, help with milking, etc. He and Des always seem to get on well, have a laugh and a few beers. I know many of us haven't seen him in a good while, but the memory is vivid. A "solid kiwi bloke" if there ever was one. Trevor
