Passed away aged 80 years, on 27 November 2023 at Everil Orr Care after recently moving from the family home of 54 years that he built in Avondale, Auckland. Devoted husband of Jan. Beloved father to Dale and Toni (Tauranga), Toni and Kevin (Auckland), Kipp and Michelle (Invercargill), Lara and Mike (Auckland). Cherished grandfather to Kelsey and Iorhan, Brianna and Lazarus, Marissa and Caleb, Matthew, Paige, Jackson, Scott, Amanda and grand-dog Banjo.

A reserved and thoughtful man who loved his family, home and Waiheke. Gordon had a long career in the water infrastructure sector with BECA Steven (and Fitzmaurice) and had a love of intrepid travelling to many parts of the world. A celebration of Gordon's life will be held at The Central Park Chapel of Davis Funerals, 150 Central Park Drive, Henderson, on Tuesday 5 December 2023, at 1:30pm, followed by private cremation.
