APPLETON, John George

Passed away peacefully on 25 November 2023, surrounded by his family. He will be deeply missed by his wife Ruth, his children and their partners Joanne and Allan, Katherine and Tony, Cassandra, Matt and Emily, and six much loved grandchildren.

John was known for his persistent and determined work ethic and his humble generosity. He was an avid reader and collector of books and he loved his cats.

We would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at Bob Owens.

A service celebrating John’s life will be held at Legacy Tauranga, 383 Pyes Pa Rd, Tauranga on Friday 1 December at 9:30am, followed by burial.
