On the 20th of October 2025 in his 95th year, peacefully after a short illness at Middlemore Hospital. Most dearly loved husband, soulmate, and best friend of Mary for 64 years. Devoted father of John and David, loved father-in-law of Karen. Loving grandfather of John, Elizabeth, Fergus, and Harriet.

A service will be held at All Saints Church, 17 Selwyn Road, Howick on Wednesday 29th October at 1pm. Family burial at Waiau Pa cemetery on Thursday. A life well lived.
