Dear Chris & Family. Saddened to hear the news of David passing but we rejoice in that he loved Jesus and will therefore forever be with him. We met you both & some family members when visiting Waihi covering for David. May you find peace & comfort in Jesus. Shalom & Shalom. Amen
It’s with deep shock that we hear about the sudden passing of David. Those times when we were privileged to hear David speak and gain from his erudite brilliance were memorable. Many others must have been blessed and enriched by his scriptural insights in the same way. We join others to pray for Chris and their immediate family as well as the wider family in their grief, and pray for Gods impassable peace to be their portion.
Dear Chris and Family, we knew David from BCNZ days and met him again recently at a Family First conference. His strong character and conviction impressed us deeply back then and we often share stories in which he is the protagonist for truth and realty. Please accept our condolences and blessing on you all. Steve and Sue Beguely The Pain of Loss, John and David, Son and Father Pain too deep to know or comprehend, we feel it deeply, lost a son and friend, too early, now his father has followed into glory, still too early, by our account, suffering which theology cannot prevent, so much we cannot know in this universe, yet we know the One who now holds them close, they are transformed, regenerated, without pain, and we are healed by Him God chose to send, believe it now, here comes the latter rain, in His arms our grief will have an end, and we as warriors overcoming, the world and our enemies defeating.
Dear Chris and Family, my heart goes out to you all in your very sad loss and am praying for you as the Funeral Service is being held now. David was a great man, a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, totally committed to Him, a brilliant preacher and lover of God's Word, and an inspiration to us all. Strong in stature and in faith, devoted to his family and his flock, he will be greatly missed. May the Lord's love and comfort be your strength in the days ahead until you meet again with David in God's Presence

Dear David When we craved surprise and delight You battled convention and Emerged victorious When we demanded satisfaction You offered humour Subtle and memorable When we lacked courage You offered fearlessness Bold and intrepid When shadows, dark and Menacing emerged to threaten You offered charity and hope And so it is, dear David With gratitude, homage and affection That we bid you farewell
