Sending love and hugs to Runa and Ted's whànau. So sad to hear of her passing but she has fought the great fight and now is with the angels and Ted. We had some lovely times here at my home with them and visiting them on Wellsford at Port Albert. I first met them both when still living in Waimana about 1976, they came and found me and a close bond was formed with them both. We had many great times discussing connections and chasing up families yet to be met, photographed and added to the growing list of Biddle descendants. I treasure the times we had together and was glad to have become their gone away from home in Whakatane.

So sad to hear of your passing Runa. It was lovely being around you at the Wellsford Co-operating church and working with you on the Parish Council. I inherited the monthy bulletins from you. It was great being neighbours across the road from each other for 18 months or so. Rest in peace Runa I shall miss you. From Mark Lorenzen

I was so sorry to hear the loss of your mother , Runa was an old friend of My Mother Alice loose, they were early Glen Eden folk , when it was a village we have a neat pic of all the mothers & kids outside the Methodist church , so my family sends its sincere condolences at this sad time, The end of another era Regards

Warwick and I were sad to hear of the passing of your lovely mother and my mother's (Ann Phillips) dear friend. We have many memories of church days, shared lunches and great cups of teas when visiting both Ted and Runa, then in later years, just Runa. Unfortunately, we will not be at the funeral service on Wednesday as we will be in Christchurch visiting my mum for Christmas. Glenette and Ray, John and Yvonne, Linda and Paul and all your families - may you feel the love and support of family and friends around you at this time. You are in our thoughts.
