LEMIN, Dorothy Ann, (nee Wood). Peacefully in the care of Rowena Jackson on Wednesday 20th December 2023. Beloved wife of the late Anderson. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Wayne, Peter and Joanne, Chris and Diane, Murray, Sue and Darryl. Loved Nana and great nana of all her grand and great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held at The Salvation Army Citadel, 29-31 Victoria Ave, Invercargill on Saturday 23rd December 2023 at 1 pm, followed by a private interment. I have so many fond memories of nana that I don’t know where to begin. I will always cherish watching game shows, Coronation Street, and the Midwife when dad was away at work. Going to home league and learning how play rummy-cub. I will never forget watching the birds from the kitchen table.I love you nana, I’ll look for you in all the song birds I see.
Dorothy was an amazing person, Mom (I considered her my second Mum), wife and Nana to Murray and my daughter Erin. She will be missed but I am sure she is happy to be reunited with Dad. I'm sorry I can't be there in person. Sending prayers and love your way.
Thank you Dorothy for being the best neighbour and my Mum's best friend, you are a beautiful soul, rest in peace with your Anderson. Love to everyone.
