Tributes

We wish to convey our deepest sympathy to Nicky, Cam and families - Ann was a close friend and workmate as we set off on our nursing careers through training and work over the years. We always kept in touch as a group and had many happy reunions the last being in New Plymouth so that we could include Ann who was so happy to have us there. We had a lovely lunch with her and just got home before Covid sent all into lockdown. There is another one set for February which will honor Anne as a dear friend and colleague.

Our deepest sypathy goes out to you Cam, Nicky and your families. Anne was a very special women I took to her imediately as we shared a rural upbringing, plus nursing, and enjoyed both being grandmas to Jack and Georgie. We stayed in regular content from the time we met until she passed. You will be sadly missed.

Dear Nicky and families, My deepest sympathy to you for your loss of a loved mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.Ann was a fabulous person ,dedicated nurse and one of the best bosses I ever knew. She was always professional , always kind and always very insistent on good manners and polite communication no matter what the circumstances were. She was also great fun to be with. I knew Ann as the Director of Nursing at Mercy Hospital Dunedin I also knew her as a friend , a wise counsel and a gardener . Her Peonies still bloom in my garden and I think of her often .
