On December 23, 2023 at the age of 49, after a short serious illness went home to God, all too early and unexpectedly.

Time to do things, to forgive, to talk, to touch, to love, to live.
We will remember Jakob with a ‘Celebration of Life' on Tuesday 09 January at 3.30pm in the secret garden of Sarah C Art, at 18 Thelma Road South, in Mangawhai, NZ.

I am very sorry we could not make it to the celebration for Jacob at Colins place yesterday. I was not very well. Our sincere thoughts were with you and your family. I sincerely hope that you Zoey plus Hope & Naomi will stay strong and wish you all the best and hope you and the family will keep in touch with our sailing project. Our hearts go out to you all during this time and we are holding you close in our thoughts. Jacob was an amazing person who always had smile on his face. I will always remember him showing me around his workshop and feeling his passion for wood and creating such beautiful furniture. My favorite piece of furniture that he made was the little table in your home for the girls to craft on. I know how much he loves you and your girls Zoey. Loads of love from Krystal, Jarrod and Mackenzie.
