Dan and I became good friends whilst we were working together in Western Australia at the ALS. There aren’t many like him. There was a brilliant sparkle in his eye when he smiled, and he seemed to be in his element when he was telling stories. He was a man with a big heart. We enjoyed some really good times together. I am lucky I got to be his mate.

Dan, cuz we spent so many precious moments together in New Zealand, Gold Coast and Airlie Beach North Qld. Those moments were always special and happy and full of laughter and joy. You have left us too soon my cuz and we will miss you.

We are so saddened this day has come. You were every ounce the adventurous rock'n'rolla as you were kind spirited and lovely to be around. You're as memorable as they come, and our love is with you and your family. Rest in love Dan Jovi.

Dan the man , Danley , Dan Jovi. A dear friend of mine. I am so sad for all the Rawlings family and friends of Dans. I had the honour of seeing this rock & roller perform and it’s important to note he was very good with the guitar 🎸. I also was able to get to know him over the journey and share his wonderful sense of humour and his appreciation of people in all their complexities. He loved the characters he was able to meet in his work and would go out of his way wherever he was to give time to those that were struggling. It was common to find Dan when in the Kimberley reading a book at a spot with a nice view and sharing a smoke with a local or two. Thanks for some amazing memories at some epic gigs and making me smile whenever we talked. Shine on you crazy diamond. Your mate Tobes xoxoxo

Dan was certainly one of the kind. He was not only my lawyer, but very quickly also becoming a good friend. Sense of humour and disability at times to read me the right act remarkable..
