Born 1931 in Guangzhou, China, passed away peacefully, aged 92, at Edgewater Village, Pakuranga, Auckland, on 24 December 2023. Evelyn was the beloved wife of Jim for 72 years, and much loved mother and mother-in-law of Dennis and Jeanette, Terry and Eva, Stephen and Steph, Garry and Patricia, and Andrea and the late Richard. Cherished Ma Ma of Dominique and Daniel; Amanda and Tim, Ashleigh, Tiffany and Nick; Matt and Leslie, Scott and Paggy, and Kristi; Samantha and Christian; and Por Por of Fraser. Tai Ma of Oliver and Emmy, and Tai Por of Laurie. Evelyn lived a long, full, and happy life, and she will be missed by her family and friends.
