Passed peacefully on 30 December 2023 aged 95. Dearly loved husband to the late Elaine. Loved father and father-in-law of Mary, Bill and Kris, Murray, Suzie and Ken, and Jon. Devoted grandfather of Jack, Sharita, Drisana, Anna and Kiran. Sadly missed by family and friends. A service will be held at St Luke's Church, 704 New North Road, Mt Albert on Thursday 4 January at 1.30pm.

I spent a lot of time with George & Elaine in the early 70's when I started my working life & before I moved to Australia & I will always remember the jovial laughter & smile of George. Regards, to G & E's children who one day I might meet again. Allan Haddow (from David Haddow - George's cousin.)
