Of Pahiatua. Passed peacefully on Wednesday 27th December 2023, at Waireka Care Home. Aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Desmond (Des). Treasured mother of Graeme; and the late Sue. Cherished grandmother of Sara. Great-grandmother of Thomas and Emma.

A service for Shirley will be held at St Peter's Anglican Church, 18 Albert Street, Pahiatua, on Thursday 4th January 2024 at 11.00am. Messages can be sent to the Wheatley family, c/- PO Box 1014, Palmerston North.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of your Mum and our Aunty. Many fond memories as a young girl spent with the family on the farms. Thinking of you and your family. Much love from your cousin Cheryl and my family in Australia.
