Awe Scotty. You've been taken from this world far too soon my friend. What I’ll remember most about you is your cheeky grin and that one-of-a-kind personality that could light up a room. You had a love for the bold and the retro – those loud shirts, the quirky treasures you collected – but most of all, you had a love for life and for the people in it. Thank you for all the colour, humour and love you brought to our lives. You'll be so missed! Sue, sending you so much aroha and strength during this heartbreaking time. Arohanui, Renee and Selkirk Whānau. XXX
My Condolences to John, Jeannine, Vikki-Lee, Sue and family. I met Scotty through the Malanchaks and quickly warmed to him and his quirky humour. I had the honour of spending time talking over the occasional beer and having him attend our wedding and even more important taking on the honour of being godfather to our son Liam. He cheeky grin will forever be missed.
RIP Scotty. Fond memories of my good friends little "annoying cheeky" younger brother. I am honoured and glad to have met you. To your treasured family and friends my thought are with you all. Much love
I first met Scott while he was traveling through the U.S. His humor and spirit for life always left a positive impression on me. Even decades later I can recall nights filled with a lot of laughter and jokes. Rest well Scott. You put a lot of life in your years. Peace and prayers to his family and friends.
Fly high Scotty you are out of pain now. Your cheeky humor and contagious smile will be missed by all big hugs from us all at Studio 128 Dont worry we will look after your Darling Sue ✨️rip Scotty ❤️

We are still in shock. We have so many funny & fond memories from our times working with you at Advantage and the years after... We have always appreciated the friendship and love you and your beautiful family have always given us. We will remember the true gentleman you were with the amazing smile and awesome sense of humour. We think of you every time we hear the song, ‘Cotton Eye Joe’ and will continue to do so with much love and fond memories. Much love and hugs to Sue, Jeannine, John and Vicki-Lee. Kylie and Steve Foster xx
It’s been many years since our school days, but I still remember the times our friend group shared as teenagers and into our 20's, navigating relationships, parties, and everything else in between. What stands out in my mind was Scotty's red Mini, his eternally cheeky grin - and oddly enough, a disappearing trick with his school shoelaces! Although we lost touch, I’ve enjoyed seeing glimpses of his life and happiness on Facebook over the years, and it was clear how much he meant to those around him.
