Dear Jean, Megan, Ben and family our thoughts are with you Love Sue and Rob Maetzig
Frank, the one who taught me how to drive at Manfield. He said Follow me and do what I do. HA! I couldn't even keep up with him on my 1st ever lap. When I got back to the pits he said, where were you? I said, trying to keep up Frank. That was never going to happen. 🤷♀️ Many meetings later I got the hang of circuit racing and loved being a part of the ES Race Team, drinking snott burgers (bourbon) after a day's racing, massive hangovers, talking a load of rubbish, laughing our heads off, going to that Chinese restaurant and causing havoc with chop sticks up our noses🤦♀️and generally having a good time with them all. Frank, you were my hero on race day and I appreciated you taking me under your wing. Jean and Megan, I was saddened to hear of Frank's passing, we had all spent so many Christmas's, birthdays, weekends, race days, parties and a whole bunch of shenanigans together for many years and those times will always be treasured and some of the best times of my life. Much love to you both. XX
To Jean, Megan and all the family, I'm so sorry to read Frank has passed, he brings back many wonderful memories of the past, I can still see him straining his vocal chords on all our 'sing-a-longs' ! ! and watching him at Hill Climbs, and at Stock Cars etc and ALL the social gatherings we had in the Village ! ! Deepest Sympathy ........JILL
what a great, generous, kind and respectful man. I owe so much to your Frank; you taught me so much as a young fellow while working for you at "tractor Parts". You were always up for a chat whenever I seen you later in life and always keen to share your knowledge. I am so proud to have known such a gentleman. Rest in Peace Frank until next time ! Dean
