On 3 January 2024, in his 91 year. Devoted husband of Colleen for 69 years. Loved Dad of Steven and Craig. Father-in-law to Annie and Kerrianne. Grandad to Sam, Tyler, Maja, Leah, Matthew, Michaealla, Stina, Jess, and Ben. Great grandad to Archie, Maeve, and Lulu.
A service for Lawrence is to be held at Legacy Tauranga, 383 Pyes Rd, Tauranga on Wednesday 10 January at 2.00 pm.

Remembering a lovely man who gave wonderful service to Mt. Maunganui St.John Ambulance Brigade and our fleet of (then) aging vehicles. Nothing was too much trouble for Laurie, and he came to my aid several times, notably when the brakes caught fire on the Tay St. hill. Thanks Lawrence for being such a good citizen, and a really good man. I remember you with respect and affection. Rest in peace. Maree Lewis, (formerly Oceanview Road, now in Te Puke)
