Peacefully on Sunday 19 October 2025, in her 84th year.
Cherished wife of the late Robin Jones.
Loved mother and mother-in-law of the late Vincent (RIP), Sharon, Neil, Natalie and Dave, Kerry (Stepson), and Cheryl and CJ.
Treasured Nana of many grandchildren and lots of great-grandchildren.

A service to farewell Elsie with be held at the Taranaki Crematorium Chapel, 629 Junction Road, New Plymouth on Saturday 25 October 2025 at 10am.
Rosary prayers will be prayed at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 23 Standish Street, Inglewood on Friday evening at 5.30pm

You were an amazing woman. I will miss talking about the romance novels and knitting you did. There's always a crossword book to be filled in now. I enjoyed seeing you and sharing a laugh, it general chat about everyday things. You're going to be able to sleep peacefully in a bed, or on a cloud. Not goodbye but see you next time. I was very sadden to hear of Elsie's passing. I have really enjoyed going to see Elsie and helping her. She has a lovely sense of humour and we had lots of laughs. We also enjoyed shared interests and we talked about the word fit she did every time I was there. I shall miss Elsie and send you my condolences. Karen
