Well Michael you always knew how to make am exit, on your terms . This though was not meant to be, far too to soon. Your passion for life and adventures , has always been your mantra , never shy of taking a risk or going the hard way. The way you breeze into a room and make people feel at ease, and just have a laugh and good time. You sure lived a full life, Your children have Inherited these and many more of your qualities. You'll have a constant watchful eye over them from afar for sure. You'll be proud of them and I know they will make you proud . Rest easy Hammy , enjoy that ride in heaven, be it horse or bike .

I happily recall Hammy's enthusiasm and enjoyment of road cycling. He was strong and most competitive. More importantly, I recall our poignant 'after-match' conversation(s) about his situation and people in his life, or who once were. I am glad to have spent that time with him.
