Peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital on Monday 8 January 2024 in her 94th year. Cherished wife of Jack (deceased). Adored Mum and mother-in-law of Alan & Julie (Hamilton), Mary & Gavin Dey (Stratford), Cushla & Murray Chubb (Palmerston North), Claire (deceased) & Ken Tippett, Kathryn & Lee Rogers (Stratford). Loving Grandma of Nicolas, and Karla; Jodie, and Sean; Steven, Nicola, and Diana; Jordan, Abby, and Maddison. Great Grandma of Adriana, and Addison; Nia, and Kees; Nevaeh, Inara, Oakley, and Maddox; Bohdi; Spencer; and Taron.

Requiem Mass for Erina will be celebrated at the Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception, Miranda Street Stratford, on Friday 12 January 2024 at 11.00am, to be followed by her burial in Kopuatama Cemetery. Rosary will be prayed in the church on Thursday evening at 5.30pm. For those unable to attend, Erina’s Mass will be live streamed to her tribute page.

To the Breen Family I've just realised recently that I did not acknowledge your mother's passing at the time of her death. Unfortunately we were away at the time of her funeral. Please accept our deepest sympathy. She is now at peace with Jack and Claire. A lovely lady.

I only had the privilege of knowing Erina for three months but she has etch a permanent place in my heart. Her Hall Ball skills will be lost. Fly High, go in Peace and now no more of this BA rubbish.
