Downs, Wallace (Wally) TeWarahi

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Wallace Te Warahi Downs, eldest son of Kaha and Te Meneti Arahanga – Downs. Husband of his darling late wife Dixie Downs. (nee Brown)

Step father of Edith. Whangai papa to Raymond, Riwai Arani, Oriana, Pawai, Jaylee, Stewart and all his moko’s -mokosmokos.

Loving Tuakana to all of his brothers and sisters, brother in law, sister in law nieces and nephews, mokos and mokomokos, cousins and extended whanau.

Special blessings to Makoha Rest Home at Radius Matua Tauranga for the care and loving support during his stay.

A very sincere appreciation to Maurice and Tira for an unconditional friendship to Wally.

Wallace will be at Wairoa Marare, Wairoa Pa Road, Bethlehem Tauranga, Wednesday 17 January at 11am. Then to the Taumatawhio Urupa
