To Barbara, your daughter Michelle is my oldest friend now which you already know. Years ago, when you placed Michelle in a new school where I was already at, you looked out for me with a smile and said ‘ I know who you are Karen and please look after Michelle!’ ( our families were from a small town in UK, from our grandmas we all knew each other ). Ever since Michelle got placed in my school we’ve became close friends and always have been. Barbara has always welcomed me in her home where she lived with Michelle and when she met Michael ( Edward’s father ) she still welcomed me with her new growing family! I will always remember your kindness and smile! Lots of love to Michelle and Edward!

Dear Ed, Michelle and family, We are deeply saddened to hear of Mum’s passing. We always enjoyed her company as our children Dan and Adrian grew up with Ed at Truro School and later on as Dan and Ed spent good times together in Cornwall and New Zealand.
