We are very sad to announce the passing of Alan in his 91st year.
Dearly beloved husband of Barbara Ngaire. Much loved brother of Gavin and Josie. Much loved Father and Father-in-law to Christine and Denis, Roger and Janet, and Andrew. Loved Grandad of Alana, Ryan, Rahema, Rommy, Roger and Alesiana. Loved Great Grandad of Ella, Thys, Eden, Lilly and Hadley.
A Requiem Mass will be held at St Francis De Sales and All Souls Church, Albert Road, Devonport, Auckland at 11:00am 22 January 2024 with Fr Neil Darragh presiding. A reception at church will follow Mass for family and friends.
Many thanks to the staff of Bupa Hillborough Care Home, Auckland for their loving care of Alan over the past two months.

Dear Barbara and family, what a lovely engaging man Alan was. We enjoyed his and Barbara's regular visits to our gallery in Devonport and the conversations about art and his creative work. It was always a pleasure to run into him as we went about our business, a cherished part of this community who will be missed. Love and warmest wishes.
