Robin, You were a gift. On any shift you gave us all a lift with your gorgeous laughter and genuine light. Over the past few days, since learning of your passing I have thought of the countless patients that will have stories and memories of the wonderful care you provided…warm showers, thoughtful gestures.. coffees to get us through the shift. And now I understand the passion with which you worked… you had been a patient on more than one occasion and you knew just what was needed. You left a love mark on us all. I was so sorry to hear you had left us, too soon my friend. Listening to your heritage and your life through Tony was beautiful. We all knew how much you loved Tony. You’ve gone before us, and so we can look forward to heavens welcome knowing you will be there XO

I loved visiting with you and Tony the last time you came to the States. What a wonderful couple you and Tony were. We had so many laughs. I am so glad that you were able to get two livers and that we were able to keep you here for those extra years Love you more than words can say. And we will miss you so much.

Robin, you have gone before your time but rest assured that many patients and colleagues will remember your efforts to go above and beyond what was expected. You brought comfort and showed care always in a difficult job. You talked of your wonderful husband and how he cared so much for you. I'm so glad you had that experience and know it will be a tough time for him. Rest in peace lovely lady. xxx

Robin... there aren't enough words to describe your beautiful smile, the larger than life personality, the wonderful "belly" laugh, and of course, the always "prankster "! You loved food... hot and spicy, chicken and dumplings, cherry cheesecake, chocolate cake with fudge icing. Well, guess we need to just state, again, the fact that you loved food. Part of our many conversations over the phone... Mom... what's for dinner tonight... Mom... have you fixed biscuits and gravy for breakfast lately? We would face time and I would have to walk into the kitchen with the phone and show you the sweets that were left or the big pot of soup. We always joked that we needed a "smell-a-phone" so you could smell and see the whatever. Dad and I will miss hugging you, talking to you, seeing that radiant smile, watching your face as you taste that new recipe, seeing how you loved animals, wanting, so much, to help patients with their needs... I could go on and on. We have so many stories; we will tell you one at the beginning of every month so be listening sweet girl. Love, Mom and Dad

Sadly today we find ourselves, mourning the loss of Robin, let us remember how you faced life head-on, who laughed at adversity and who, in her short time with us, taught us the true meaning of courage and resilience. Robin’s journey was cut short, but her impact will resonate with us forever. Robin met every obstacle head-on, leaving a trial of courage in her wake. Robin’s determination and ambition were evident in every aspect of her life. Even as she faced health challenges, she remained unwavering in her pursuit of a fulfilling and purposeful existence. Robin, you were a vibrant soul who graced us with 56 years of courage and strength, you had an infectious bubbly personality and your humour added light to every room. John and I treasured the moments spent catching up with you both whenever time permitted. Robin your spirit remains eternally in our hearts, a testament to the beautiful friendship we shared. Tony, in this difficult time, remember that our support extends beyond today, we are here for you not just now but in the future. Thank you, Robin, for the laughter and friendship you gifted us throughout the years. Rest in peace, Robin. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on in our hearts. Robin., you made my life complete and I loved your compassion and empathy. I was looking forward to continue to share my life with you as we aged further. I am wreaked that you will not be with me physically anymore . You battled to the end and I wish it could have been a happier ending. I always did and always will love you.., all my love Tony
