To Toni, Craig, Boyd and families. We are so saddened by the news of Pats’s passing. Our condolences to all. Always a kind & helpful friend to all, a loving Mum to family and friends, a helping hand to everyone she knew; our days together in Darwin and Karratha, are remembered with fondness. As well as those years in Merrilands! Rest easy Pat, I’m so sad that I didn’t get to New Plymouth to catch up with you one last time. Bet you’re organising one helluva reunion party “upstairs” with Mr Rodney! With Love always, Adrienne, Greg & Natalia Youd

It’s hard to believe Pat has gone. She was such a strong lady, made of tough stuff. I thought and hoped she would just keep on forever, but sadly, that was not to be. As a little girl I always enjoyed my holidays with her, my brother Rodney and the children. Fabulous baking, great meals and lots of fun- picking mushrooms, feeding calves, visiting friends, car rides and playing games. I am so sad for Craig, Boyd, Toni and their families along with her family and friends for their loss. Pat fought the good fight. Now, she is out of pain, She is with the Angels and she will be remembered. Rest in Peace Pat. All of my love, Jan xxx

Will always think of you nana. my earliest memories date back to one easter, me and masyn came down. you sat me down and got me to do every crossword, wordfind and letter wheel in the newspaper and when i fell in love with them, you would draw out past ones from papers you still had on a little notebook so i had more to do. the milos at the table, the competitiveness you brought out of masyn and I with the hundreds of games on “ Skip - Bo “ . I will never forget. Once i got older , you never forgot to call on one birthday or any significant event and you never forgot to make sure i had credit and even if i did, would make sure i had a little top up just so i could call you. Im so sorry that i was never consistent with that the older i got. You were the best person in the world nan, from messaging me because you saw Auckland weather would be bad to the random little postcards i would get from you whenever i got a new address. I love you always , Nana Pat. from you favourite ;)) xx I miss you. my world is never the same. over and over, I love you Nan.
