On Friday 19 January 2024, peacefully at Rymans Murray Halberg in his 100th year. Dearly loved and most loving husband of the late Doreen. Devoted father of Christine and Susan and father in law of Jeremy and the late Rob. Most wonderful Grandad of Katherine, Jane and Glen, and incredible GG of Zoe and Naomi. Deeply cherished and missed by them all. Special thanks to the caring staff at Rymans Murray Halberg. A celebration of Ray's life will be held on Wednesday 24th January 2024, 11am at Central Park Chapel of Davis Funerals, 150 Central Park Drive, Henderson.

Thanks Uncle Ray for organising the Hancock / Billingham tour of the South Island 50 plus years ago. It still remains my favourite holiday and on my southern business trips I see places that you took me to like Larnach Castle, The Avon River and the Queenstown Gondolas. I will always appreciate the help you gave my Nan and Grandpa who lived in Mt Albert by delivering their prescriptions on your way home on many evenings. Put your feet up now and have a well deserved rest.
