Tributes

We had many good times working together, dressmaking and with family times. Kathleen and Don were part of the fabric of our family life. Remembered with affection for her kindness and humour. Charmaine. (Formerly Montgomery)

Auntie will always be remembered with so much love, she was like a 2nd Grandma to us Roigard kids. So many great memories ... from driving me around in the Morris Minor as a toddler, to taking me home with her and Uncle Don for a holiday in Kihikihi, to picking up firewood with Uncle Don and the Roigards on the farm, & then in later years looking after my own children Kaylee and Holly with much delight on both sides. It was always a treat for me (and also my girls) to spend special time with Auntie (aka Ninnie & Auntie caffeine) & Uncle Don, and I will always treasure listening to Auntie's wise settling words when life got tough. Go well Auntie, at peace with the angels. Forever loved. Keren xxx

Much love and sympathy to you all. Kathleen was a very hospitable person and she welcomed Selwyn and I with open arms for most of the Mystery Creek field days for many, many years. She loved her family and grandchildren and also other children when their mothers needed help. When we left the farm we used to take the caravan to Hamilton to the caravan show and would drive down to TeAwamutu to see them and were always warmly welcomed. A lovely lady whom we will miss but now having a rest from all her labours. Marlene and Selwyn
