Passed away peacefully on January, 20th 2024. Lady Coralie Rowlands lived a wonderful 95 years, sharing most of those years with her beloved late husband Sir Donald Rowlands and the light of their lives, their son David. She is survived by David and her two grandchildren Lauren and Joshua who brought the most joy for Coralie and Don. Coralie was born August, 4th 1928, the youngest daughter of William and Ivy Johnston, with her siblings Audrey and Cecil. Coralie was never one for the limelight but she was the anchor for her husband Don's sporting and business successes and was the driving force behind many a raffle, coin trail and fundraiser for the West End Rowing Club or as treasurer for the Auckland Gliding Club. Rest in peace and love.
