Passed away peacefully at Jean Sandel hospital after a long illness, on Thursday 18th Jan.
Aged 84. Formerly of Pukengahu and Stratford.
Deeply loved husband of Marlene for 62 years , very much loved and
cherished by all of his family.
Loving and loved Dad and friend of Raewyn and Blue ,friend of Tegan mate of Geoff, a wonderful Grandad and Great Grandad.
A private funeral has been held.

Dear Marlene, Raewyn , Blue So very sorry to hear of John’s passing … our family has such happy memories of Puke days spent with ‘the Wishboners’ … I remember waiting patiently to go to the Senior Room at Puke PS to Mr Ridley’s classroom … then he left to go to another school !!
