On 24 January 2024, aged 92 years.
Now in heaven; home at last! Face to face with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Cherished and appreciated by her family, friends, and so many others who had the privilege of knowing her.
A service for Erica will be held at the Whitiora Bible Church, 24 Abbotsford Street, Hamilton on Friday 2 February 2024 at 11am.
“After Jesus said these things, he looked toward heaven and prayed, “Father, the time has come. Give glory to your Son so that the Son can give glory to you. You gave the Son power over all people so that he could give eternal life to all those you have given to him. And this eternal life: that people can know you, the only true God, and that they can know Jesus Christ, the one you sent.” John 17.1-3.

I was privileged today to join the livestream funeral Service to my cousin Erica whom I knew and loved from my youth. I am now 94 years old and appreciated all that was said about her.
I will never forget that their were 4 of us in Athens working in a refugee center with Athlete's in Action. We all ended up on a Greek island and for some reason decided to climb what was a good size steep local hill. Now I did not expect Erica who would have been somewhere around 70 at this stage to even try but try she did and to my male ego which did not want to be beaten by a 70 year and old amazement Erica with Irene got halfway up this hill in what was pretty hot weather. needless to say a swim in the sea afterwards was on the cards.
