McGOWAN, Shaun John Gerald Pichella. With great sadness and a heavy heart, the family of Shaun announces his peaceful passing at his home in Orewa on August 28th, 2025, at the age of 83, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Nancy, cherished father to Warren, Steve, Dean and Kanchana and a treasured father in law to Joanne, Kerry and David. Much loved Goong Goong of Whitley, Xavier, Liam, Jaxon, Bailey, Macey, Caleb, Boston, Ethan, Briana, Mason, Connor and Mathew. Adored Dai Goong of Mahalia, Mattais and newborn baby boy. He will be lovingly remembered by all his family and friends.
