Peacefully after a short battle, in Whakatane Hospital, with family by his side, on the 27th of January, 2024.
Beloved husband of Lynette. Much loved Dad and father in law of Craig, Katrina and Jimmy. Dearly loved Poppa of Olivia, Jasmyn, Hayden, Aengus and Riley. Loved son of the late Muriel and Neil, and brother of Noel, Brian, Bruce, Joy, Gayle, Carol, Stephen and Michael.
A service to celebrate Dennis' life will be held in Osbornes Funeral Directors Chapel, 197 Old Taupo Road, Rotorua on Saturday the 3rd of February at 10am. Communications to The Potter Family C/- PO Box 926, Rotorua.

Lynette and family, Very sad to hear of Dennis’s passing. Had a lot to do with the family growing up when they lived in Putāruru. Condolences from the Inwood family….Marlene, Christine, Geoffrey, Maxine and Robert.
Fondly remembered for his jovial demeanor, love of dogs and all things Scottish - even delivered us some haggis. All round good bloke. Our thoughts are with Lynne and the family.
