Passed away peacefully on 31st January 2024. Loving and devoted husband to Patricia, adoring father and father-in-law to Yvonne and Paul, Elaine (deceased), Beverley and Danny. Amazing grandad to Gavin, Joseph, Lorraine, Tim and Ian and GG-Dad to eleven great grandchildren. A service will be held at Parkside Chapel, 42 Herd Road, Hillsborough on Monday 5th February at 10am. In lieu of flowers a donation to Blind/Low Vision NZ or the Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and can be made through the links below.

I have finally got the gumption to watch the service - it is almost a year already. well, sobbing as I am. I miss you so much Dad. I still feel such an emptiness without you. Mum is doing better than expected, she is such a strong woman. Yvonne and I are doing our best but as you know there is no loving substitute for your arms to hold her.
