Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his whanau on Monday 5th January 2024. Matua will lay state for one night at Karepori Marae, Oruru Road, Taipa, from Wednesday 7th February 2024, with his final service and burial taking place on Thursday 8th February, 11am.
