Al-Fatiha 🙏🏽Ronnie J was a good guy straight up shooter and was very reserve too. Another Washington State product that came to NZ and booster the basketball scene around NZ. A good person and a great man is how I'll remember my guy. Rest well RJ you'll be so missed. Kevin Reece Via Hong Kong - Compton California

We didn't get to spend much time together, but what I can remember is that you were an awesome man. You were funny, sweet, loving, and kind. I will definitely miss you❤️❤️❤️🕊😇 -your niece from the states
I love you Uncle Ronnie ❤️ you was truly the man and I enjoy listening to the words that was spoken about you & that vein that pop up when angry I believe we all inherit that because us Joyner’s have the best veins because we are so in tune with The Most High 🙌🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾 Love you Unc ps we all have slick mouths 😂
Ronnie I am so much better off to have met you, your smile and laugh was infectious you were very humble and dignified. I was so proud of you when you were put in the basketball hall of fame, was telling everyone I know that guy. You were proud to and told me all about it all and life coming from Tenesse. To Ronnie’s nz and stateside family much love, aroha, to you all. I am sorry I cannot be there in person but will be there for part of the livestream. Everyone comes into our life for a reason or a season and although I had not seen Ronnie for a while, I quietly morn his loss xx To the Taharoto crew give our brother the send off he deserves xx aroha mai
