Funeral service held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel
Have only just seen that Pauline has sadly passed away. Sending belated condolences from my mother June hook and myself .
We were saddened today to get a note from Nancy Jones informing us of Pauline’s death. We lived at 76A and enjoyed many neighbourly chats over the garden fence. She was a person we could trust, and the best sort of neighbour to have. She was always willing to help out- she kept an eye on things while we were away; she looked after our girls at times. We looked after Ziggy the cat, who had a gentle nature like his owner. She tutored exchange students after school. Pauline was a gentle, caring lady, a wonderful neighbour, and we can say that any community that she was associated with was very lucky.
I spoke to Dad yesterday and he advised of Paulines passing. Your dear mum, mother-in law, grandmother and great grandmother and friend to many. So very sorry to hear this sad news. Pauline was a caring, gentle, lovely lady and a wonderful friend (along with Ash) to Mum and Dad over many years. I have wonderful memories of her and the lovely chats we use to have when I ran into her in New Plymouth. Not to mention the great parties at the Novaks at Christmas where all our families would catch up!! She will be sadly missed by many. Mum (Wendy), Lois and Eileen will be waiting for you up there with a Gin and Tonic and so much to talk about!! Rest in eternal peace as you deserve Pauline. Much love to all the lovely Roberts family from Jane( Fairey) and Murray Lineham xxxxx
