SHEGEDIN Dorothy Alice (Dot) (formerly Killen)
Passed away peacefully on Valentine’s Day at Whakatane Hospital, with her daughter by her side; aged 85 years.
Cherished wife of the late Pat Killen and companion of the late Barney Shegedin. A loving mum, grandma and great grandma to her entire family.
In keeping with Dot’s wishes, a private family service has been held. Communications directed to The Killen / Shegedin Family, C/- PO Box 2017 Whakatane 3120 would be appreciated. You're welcome to leave a tribute for the family below.

To Dot's family. Your Mum, and Dad (Pat) was one of the Police team who led the search at Ohawe Beach 10/8/74 for Tai Eraio, one of the 4 men who went missing in the Fidelis boating tragedy. My Mum and Dad were Matron of Honour and Bestman at your Mum's and Barney's wedding. The Kehely family were old friends of the Opunake Shegedin family. Our sympathy at this sad time.
